Honda City Review
Honda City 2022 is one of the popular cars in Pakistan. Honda has updated the City at the right time and it has helped it retain its market share. Honda has given a mid-life update to beat the competition especially the Ciaz and Verna. The new Honda City gets a new look and design changes. Some new features have also been introduced. A new top-end variant has also been introduced which has caught the attention of car buyers.
Honda City 2022 Exterior
The front face of the Honda City Aspire is bolder after the facelift. It is now equipped with a new honeycomb grille, larger headlamps with LEDs and DRLs. The New City 2022 also gets a redesigned bumper. Another change on the sides are new 16″ alloys (for the top end only; the rest are with 15″ alloys).
The rear looks modern and different with its new and sharp honeycomb design bumper, boot lid spoiler, LED stop lamps and LED tail lamps.
Honda City 2022 Interior
Honda City has equipped the new Honda City Aspire 2022 with many features, such as – reversing camera, sunroof, keyless entry and GoFeather touch climate control, extremely spacious cabin and rear AC vent. The touch-sensitive controls have some other new features. It is one of the solid and robust choices of sedans that offers premium features. The new Honda City now has a 7″ touchscreen multi-function infotainment display. It is attached to a beautiful piano black panel.
The instrumentation cluster is finished in chrome, giving it that first-class feel that the Honda City Aspire is known for. Its large super-cushioned front seats provide comfort and there is a spacious leg/head/shoulder room in the front and rear rows. The floor is quite comfortable for the feet due to its sloping angle.
Honda City 2022 Variants / Engines
Its petrol engine is powered by 1.5L i-VTEC technology that produces 120ps of power and 145 Nmm of peak torque. The gearbox is mated to either a 5-speed manual transmission or a CVT.Honda City MT delivers 17.4 km/L and CVT (Petrol) 18kmpl. Its ride and handling is similar to the older model with MacPherson struts front and rear. One is an H-shaped torsion beam. The adaptive suspension absorbs small bumps with ease and the NVH level has also been increased. The overall dynamics are the same as its previous models.
Honda City 2022 Price in Pakistan
The 6th generation City, which first appeared in the international market in 2014 and was replaced by the 7th generation the following year in 2020, arrived in Pakistan in 2022. Consumers in Pakistan were disappointed as they expected the 7th generation to be released locally, but received the previous one instead. The Honda City 2022 is currently available for pre-order in five variants: Honda City 1.2 MT, Honda City 1.2 CVT, Honda City 1.5 CVT, Honda City 1.5 Aspire MT, and Honda City 1.5 Aspire CVT.
